We are seeking an outstanding physiotherapist to provide on‑tour clinical support to the cast of a major immersive dance production touring Australia and Asia in 2027. This role offers a unique blend of high‑level musculoskeletal practice, performance medicine, and international travel, working embedded within a world‑class creative team.

The successful candidate will receive comprehensive training ahead of the tour, including time with the cast in July/August 2026. This preparation period will allow you to understand the choreography, physical demands, and scheduling of the show, and to build rapport with performers and the wider production team.

Key responsibilities

In this role, you will:

– Act as the lead physiotherapist on tour, working independently in each location

– Provide assessment, manual therapy, and exercise‑based rehabilitation for acute and chronic injuries

– Design and supervise focused rehabilitation and conditioning programmes tailored to the show’s demands

– Advise on load management, return‑to‑performance, and ongoing injury prevention for cast and crew

– Communicate clearly and professionally with the production team regarding performer readiness and any clinical considerations

– Liaise regularly with our UK‑based clinical team for case review, documentation, and support

Requirements

Candidates must:

– Be HCPC‑registered physiotherapists

– Have an enhanced DBS certificate available

– Have a minimum of 3 years’ musculoskeletal (MSK) experience

– Hold a valid passport and be able to travel for the duration of the tour

Experience with performing artists or athletes is highly desirable, but not essential for the right clinician with strong MSK skills and a genuine interest in performance.
