Adam Hepworth

- BSc (Hons) Physiotherapy

- MA Musical Theatre

- BA (Hons) Music & Theatre

Coming from a family full of healthcare and public sector workers, I grew up in an environment where helping others was natural. But with a split passion between following a career in healthcare and following my other passion, music, I followed my creative side first and began studying for my BA in Music and Theatre.

I went on to complete my MA in Musical Theatre in 2015 at the Guildford School of Acting, and began my professional career as a performer, enjoying the opportunity to perform in shows and productions around the world. Alongside this, I also began teaching singing, music theory and performance skills, before deciding it was time to explore other passions and returning to study once more for my Physiotherapy degree.

Whilst studying, I developed a particular interest in bridging the gap between physiotherapy and voice teaching, as well as a keen eye for problem solving with musculoskeletal issues. This, combined with both my teaching experience and my knowledge of the industry, allows me to fully understand the pressures and demands performers face, and will help me to focus on what matters to my clients in both the short and long term.

Besides continuing to sing when I can, I’m also up for trying any sport, from tennis to bouldering and long-distance running – I love a challenge and am always up for a new one!

- Certified APPI Pilates Instructor

- Vocal Physiotherapist

- Pointe Shoe Fitting (Ballet Pro)

At 19, Chloe graduated from Ballet West with a BA (hons) Dance and qualified for the semi-finals of the Margot Fountain International Ballet competition in Australia. Chloe toured in various ballets for three years, dancing in theatres such as The Royal Albert Hall, SECC, Edinburgh Conference Centre and Saddlers Wells. However, during this time Chloe quietly carried an injury which would soon change the path that she was on.

Chloe decided to follow another passion and graduated from the University of East Anglia with a BSc (hons) Physiotherapy and went on to develop skills in assessing and treating sports injuries and general musculoskeletal conditions. Chloe also developed skills in vocal physio, acupuncture and shockwave therapy.

Chloe is an experienced specialist in her treatment of dancers and singers. She has a sharp eye for injury prevention whilst watching a performance and brings a unique, dancers perspective to rehabilitation. We are extremely lucky to have her working with our team!

Darel Evans

- BSc (Hons) Physiotherapy

- Vocal Physiotherapist

- Strength and Conditioning Coach

- Acupuncture

Growing up, I always had an interest in human movement and I had various influences through dance & martial arts. Throughout my teens I developed an interest in resistance training and fitness during my preparation for joining the Army. I spent 6 years in the military developing a driven and motivated professional work ethic; one that stops me sitting still to this day!

I was drawn to dance & physical theatre as a specialty from childhood experience; and due to its technical prowess, movement complexity, physical demand on the body and variation in discipline and style.

Working 1:1 with artists is where I get my spark. I love the connection I get with my clients whilst we problem solve a particular performance track. Together, our goal is to make your track feel safer, achievable and sustainable.

Our rehab sessions are fun to work through because performers are in tune with their bodies and take ownership of themselves. I have so much respect for this level of self-discipline and it is why my performers do so well with their rehab.

I no longer dance (professionally ;) but I enjoy challenging my own movement skillset regularly through olympic weightlifting, Thai boxing, cycling, mobility and flexibility training. Give me any other sport and I’ll give it a go!
