Is laryngeal manual therapy painful?
Some soft tissues in the neck and around the larynx can become tight and restrict the mobility of the larynx. The treatment can be tailored to you and does not have to be painful. Applying manual techniques to these structures can be uncomfortable. Your physio will constantly check that you are happy and the treatment isn’t too firm.
